PRICES

I don't charge per person but based on how long a trip takes. How many people want to go doesn't matter to me.
My prices do not include transportation and entry fees as these additional costs depend on where you want to go.
However, whenever it's possible, I prefer to take a public bus. It's a very cheap and reliable way to travel. For example, a bus ride to Tunja, which is located about 37km east of Villa de Leyva, costs $6500 Pesos (about 3 US Dollars) per person.
Many destinations around Villa de Leyva are only accessible by pickup truck. That's the reason why you can find so many white pickup truck taxis there. A pickup truck taxi roughly costs $2000 Pesos (about 1 US Dollar) per kilometer.
Most popular tourist attractions charge an entry fee, but if you want, I know many interesting and beautiful places that don't cost a thing to enjoy.
- $55,000 Colombian Pesos (about 27 US Dollars) for half a day
- $95,000 Colombian Pesos (about 47 US Dollars) for a normal day
- $120,000 Colombian Pesos (about 60 US Dollars ) for an extra long day (e.g., a long hike that requires getting up at 4 in the morning)
